Pause Day 3rd December

The purpose of our  ‘Pause Day’ is to give children an opportunity to stop and reflect during an ‘off-timetable’ Religious Education day.

We started by enjoying the travelling Crib which led us into reflecting how to prepare spiritually for Christmas.

This time of the year is very important for many of us and we are excited to be with family and friends. Older people are especially vulnerable to loneliness during this time and this was the topic for our Pause Day. It is a start of our intergenerational work. Children explored the reasons, the feelings and emotions and had time to discuss what we could do for them.

The different year groups made beautiful poems, cards, banners and songs to be sent to people who needs a little cheering up.

Take a look at some of our wonderful work!
