Pause Day Pentecost

Pause Day 21st May 2021

The purpose of a ‘Pause Day’ is to give children an opportunity to stop and reflect during an ‘off-timetable’ Religious Education day.

During this unprecedented time and yet a third lockdown, children need opportunities to explore their feelings, emotions and opportunities for discussions.

Children may have ‘big questions’ about what has been happening and need the space and time to ask questions, explore answers and different viewpoints while they begin to make sense of what is happening.

This was our last pause Days for this academic year. This term we have focussed on exploring the festivity of Pentecost and decorating our Pentecostal flames to symbolise helpfulness and guidance.

Take a look at some of our wonderful work!
