On Tuesday, our Year 1 children were lucky enough to be visited by Berkshire Reptile Encounters and Sadie from Feathers and Fur Falconry centre.
The children were given the opportunity to handle snakes, lizards and a tortoise. The children also enjoyed meeting a Barn Owl called Bailey, a Harris Hawk called Rossi, a Peregrine Falcon called Maverick and a European Eagle Owl called Norman.
We were delighted at how well the children behaved and their respectful attitudes towards the animals. They asked lots of questions about the animals that came to visit and really impressed our visitors.
It was a great experience had by all, well done Year 1!
