On Monday 21st September we were lucky enough to take a mixed team of Year 3 and Year 4 boys and girls to the Bracknell football tournament.
From the moment we arrived the team were amazing. They were supportive, hardworking and played some lovely football. The first game finished 0-0 after some fantastic saves from both keepers and from that point the team never looked back. They won their next four games topping the group and getting to the semi-finals.
They showed excellent team work to come through that game as 2-1 winners. In the final the positivity around the team was brilliant and they won the tournament after a wonderful golden goal! We could not be prouder of our team and their team spirit was commented on by multiple people. They truly embodied the Jennett’s Park values. A massive well done to Hunter, Jack T, Gabriel, Aria O, Chloe O, Esmae, Bella, Marlee, Viv, George, Tiann and Tommy. Tournament winners!
