Last week ( October) , the children greatly enjoyed taking part in the sessions led by the wonderful team from the Kerith Centre. The sessions provided opportunities for quiet reflection, mindfulness and thinking about the people around us. Through a range of engaging activities, the children considered how they can support others in need, practised calming techniques for challenging situations, and reflected on loved ones who are no longer with us. They enjoyed writing messages of thanks and prayers to God, sending hugs and kind thoughts to others, and discussing how each person is unique and special. The children came away with many positive comments, demonstrating thoughtfulness, empathy and a deeper appreciation of themselves and others.
