There was nothing Popular about this trip… it was extraordinarily popular!
A phenomenal 172 pupils, staff and family members travelled to London to see the spectacular production of Wicked at the Apollo Theatre, and we are still Defying Gravity with excitement as the songs continue to play in our heads! The performance was truly inspiring, bringing to life a powerful story about acceptance, understanding differences, and navigating the complexities of friendships, families and loving relationships. We were also incredibly fortunate to take part in a special Q&A session with members of the cast and the stage manager, giving us a fascinating insight into life behind the scenes and the dedication required to bring such a magical production to the stage.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped organise and support this wonderful trip. It was a memorable experience that inspired, entertained and left us all with plenty to think about long after the final curtain call. ✨🎭💚🩷
