Hello Yellow Day

Posted on Posted in Key Reminder, Latest News, News

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to be taking part in Hello Yellow Day on Friday 9th October to mark World Mental Health Day and help raise money for YoungMinds, a charity that supports young people’s mental health.

To celebrate, children can come to school in non-uniform and wear something yellow. Whether it’s a yellow T-shirt, socks, hair accessory, or even just a splash of yellow, we’d love everyone to join in!

This year’s theme is “Action”, encouraging us all to take positive steps for ourselves, for others, and for our communities. Throughout the day, children will take part in activities and discussions designed to help them reflect on wellbeing, kindness, and supporting one another.

We kindly ask for a ÂŁ1 donation per child, with all proceeds going to YoungMinds. Donations can be brought into school and handed in via the office, or families may choose to donate online.

Thank you for helping us support this fantastic cause and for making the day a bright and positive celebration. We can’t wait to see a sea of yellow around school!

Kind regards,

Mrs Clarke, Mental Health Lead
