Building Our Prayer and Reflection Space: An Exciting Opportunity for Our School Community

Dear Parents and Carers and wider friends of the school,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to share some exciting plans for Jennett’s Park C of E Primary School and to invite you to be part of something truly special. As you know we are working to enhance the school Outdoor Play and Learning experience.
We are committed to providing spaces where our children can reflect, pray, and develop their spiritual wellbeing. We are planning to create a new Prayer and Reflection Space alongside a beautiful Walking Prayer Spiral on our school grounds.
What will this space provide?
- A dedicated area for quiet reflection and prayer
- A walking prayer spiral that children can use for mindful walking and contemplation
- An outdoor space that supports our children’s mental health and wellbeing
- A peaceful environment that reflects our Christian values and inclusive ethos
- A lasting legacy that will benefit generations of pupils at our school
Why This Matters
Schools have an important role to play in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of pupils , and this dedicated space will provide our children with:
- A place for calm and reflection during busy school days
- Support for their emotional wellbeing
- An understanding of different ways to pray and reflect
How You Can Help
To make this vision a reality, we’re inviting our school community to sponsor bricks that will form part of the prayer spiral pathway.
We will be using 2 and 4 line granite pavers with black text. These can be 2 or 4 lines.
We also have a limited amount of larger Slabs to purchase

Granite/Sandstone Slabs 400 x 400 x 25mm28 characters per line 1 to 4 Lines (including spaces)
- Purchase a brick with your family name engraved on it
- Become a permanent part of our school’s spiritual landscape
- Support the creation of this valuable resource for our children

We will keep you updated on the progress of the build, and we plan to hold a special dedication ceremony once the space is complete, where all sponsors will be warmly invited to attend.
